My Refuge - New signing and debut album ‘A Matter Of Supremacy’
My Refuge is a new sensation in modern Power and Heavy Metal, with influences coming from Progressive Rock and Melodic Metal, mixing melancholic and dark atmospheres with epic tunes. The band was born in 2010 and later that year they released the self-produced ep ‘3407 – Pictures Of An August Night’. In 2013 My Refuge released a new ep, 'Living In Anger', which was very well received by critics all over the world. At that point they started writing new songs and playing live relentlessly. In 2015 My Refuge signed a deal with Bakerteam Records for the release of the long waited debut album ‘A Matter Of Supremacy’, mixed and mastered at Eleven Studio under the supervision of producer Andrea De Bernardi. The album has deep roots in Classic Heavy Metal and bands such as Crimson Glory, Iron Maiden, Rage, Helloween and Blind Guardian to name a few, with a very personal touch and deep, introspective lyrics, often dealing with social and political issues.
Artaius - New signing and debut album ‘Torn Banners’
Artaius came to light in 2008, aiming to merge metal and folk music. The band has always been wide open to various influences, embracing celtic melodies, modern metal’s groovy riffs and Seventies prog rock’s vintage atmospheres. After a self-produced EP, the band released their first full-lenght album ‘The Fifth Season’ in 2013, followed by an intense live activity, often sharing the stage with renowned Italian folk metal acts such as Draugr, Furor Gallico, Kalevala and Diabula Rasa to name a few, as well as taking part to festivals (Fosch Fest among others) and opening for Arcturus, Ensiferum, Primal Fear, Skyforger,and many other international acts. Artaius have recently signed a new deal with Bakerteam Records for the release of their second album ‘Torn Banners’, which follows in the footsteps of its predecessor but with a greater sense of melody, heavier riffs and groovy rhythms.
At The Dawn - New signing and debut album ‘Land In Sight’
Founded in 2011 by Michele Viaggi, from the ashes of his previous band, death metallers Conspiracy, At The Dawn have signed a deal with Bakerteam Records for the release of their second album ‘Land In Sight’. Recorded, mixed and mastered at Domination Studio under the supervision of Simone Mularoni (DGM, Empyrios), ‘Land In Sight’ features special guest appearances by Simone himself on the song ‘Land In Sight’ and by Letizia Chiozzi (Synful Ira) on the songs ‘Siren Call’ and ‘Rosamund's Suite’. At The Dawn's music is a mix of power, prog and heavy metal enriched by symphonic elements, with a real focus on melody. Their debut album ‘From Dawn To Dusk’ was well acclaimed by critics and with ‘Land In Sight’ At The Dawn's music reached an higher level on songwriting and performance. Silentlie - New signing and debut album ‘Layers Of Nothing’
Established in Trieste, Italy, in 2005, SILENTLIE were initially influenced by the rising male-fronted Gothic Rock movement. After the first EP ‘Behind My Face’, which includes songs being used in several compilations and one of them, ‘River of Torments’, as part of the soundtrack for the movie ‘Blood Sisters’, the band released another EP in 2013, ‘Blood Under Snow’, soon followed by the videoclip for the song ‘Regret’. In 2014 SILENTLIE settled the songs for the debut album ‘Layers Of Nothing’, a mix of modern Hard Rock & Metal with dark atmospheres. The album was recorded and mixed at Fear Studios (Extrema, Blaze Bailey, DGM) in Ravenna, Italy and mastered by Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Apocalyptica, Children Of Bodom) at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland. In the beginning of 2015 SILENTLIE signed a record deal with Bakerteam Records for a April 14th release of the record.
Starsick System - New signing and new album ‘Daydreamin’
Starsick System is a new sensation in modern hard rock, mixing influences from bands like Alter Bridge, Papa Roach, Sixx AM, Shinedown with the deep research for a personal sound where catchy choruses and melodies are melted with heavy riffing. The band was born in 2012 from the union of experienced musicians: vocalist and guitarist Marco Sandron (Pathosray, Eden’s Curse, Fairyland, etc), bassist Valeria Battain and lead guitarist David Donati (both known in Syrayde), joined by producer-songwriter and drummer for this record Ivan Moni Bidin (Pathosray, Ashent, Garden Wall, Syrayde, etc), giving birth to new sounds and melodic approaches. Cyrax – New signing and new album ‘Pictures’
Following the critically acclaimed debut album 'Reflections' (2013), Cyrax have signed a deal with Bakerteam Records for the release of their new effort, 'Pictures'. The album was recorded at RecLab Studios with producer Larsen Premoli (Fire Trails, Dragon's Cave) behind the mixing desk and features various guest musicians, each one of them adding a very distinctive flavour to the already vast array of musical influences that belongs to the band, including Progressive Rock, Classic Heavy Metal and Classical Music. De La Muerte is a modern and aggressive hard 'n heavy band charmed by the mexican "Nuestra Señora de la Santa Muerte" cult, which inspired each of the 10 "damned stories" contained in their groundbreaking debut album. Tristana – New signing and new album ‘Virtual Crime’
Tristana was founded in the late nineties and draws its inspiration from the chilling atmosphere, snowy peaks, wild ferocious rivers and endless forests of the Carpathian mountains. Tristana mixes this magical ambience with fantasy. As the light alternates with darkness, Tristana mixes ultra-melodic parts with hard passages and screaming vocals. Sailing To Nowhere - New signing and debut album coming next spring
Sailing To Nowhere is an Italian Melodic Power Metal band founded in 2013 by a group of young musicians with different musical influences, raging from Power Metal to Hard Rock, and a strong desire to mix the hardest guitar sounds with elaborate melodies and plenty of atmospheres. The band has recently entered Kutso Noise Studio in Rome, Italy, to record their debut album, which will be released next spring on Bakerteam Records.
