Gory Blister made their debut in 1991 with a demo tape which was received with great reviews by the Italian metal press, but it was the mini cd ‘Cognitive Sinergy’ that they were recognized as one of the leading forces of the country’s proficient extreme metal scene. The first league of Gory fans was born in that moment.

In 2003 Gory Blister released their first full length album ‘Art Bleeds’, which attracted more great reviews and led them to tour Italy as headliners for the first time. In the meantime their fanbase expanded from the European to the worldwide underground metal scene.

In January 2005 Gory Blister signed a deal with powerful Dutch label Mascot Records. Their first release for them was 'Skymorphosys' (2006). A full-scale European tour with Sadus (U.S.A.) and Darkane (Sweden) followed.

After the European Tour, several headlining gigs in Italy with supporting acts such as Amoral (Finland) among others gave Gory Blister the chance to be added to the bill of prestigious Evolution Festival (2007), sharing the same stage with monster acts such as Nevermore, Cynic, Sodom, Kataklysm, Virgin Steele, Sebastian Bach and many more.

In April 2009 Joe and Raff entered the studio to record the third album ‘Graveyard Of Angels’, again on Mascot Records. This album got an outstanding response from the web, reaching over 110.000 plays in the Last FM community and 128.900 profile views plus more than 72.000 plays on MySpace.

In 2012 Gory Blister signed a new deal with Bakerteam Records (a division of Scarlet Records) for the release of their new album ‘EarthSick’, consisting of 10 brand-new technical and brutal Death Metal tracks in the signature style that has always identified the band over the past 20 years. The album features a very special guest appearance by the one and only Karl Sanders (Nile) on 2 songs.
